Eruption du Volcan Nyiragongo - Les larves volcaniques deferlent en masse
Plus de 3 500 citoyens congolais ont fui vers Rubavu, au Rwanda, après l'éruption volcanique du mont Nyiragongo à Goma, en RD du Congo. Le volcan de 3000 m de haut est entré en éruption en 1977, tuant plus de 600 personnes. Nyitagongo était également entré en ebulition en 2002, tuant 250 personnes et en déplaçant plus de 1 000 personnes.
